F O R K & PAGE
About Me
I am a poet, my passions are poetry, reading, writing, and cooking. I started Fork & Page in July 2017 because I wanted to share my love of books and poetry with others. Since then, I have reviewed books by Jorie Graham, Tracy K. Smith, Victoria Chang, Diane Seuss, Jenny Xie, Monica Youn, Vievee Francis, Phillip B. Williams, Kaveh Akbar, Nicole Tong, Carly Joy Miller, Ocean Vuong, Cynthia Cruz, Kamilah Aisha Moon, Safiya Sinclair, Erika L. Sanchez, Monica Ong, and others. It is my hope that this review blog will help these books reach a wider audience. Community means so much to me, and I feel fortunate to have been able to connect to a wider community of poets, writers, bloggers, and bookstagrammers through this blog.
I am the author of four chapbooks including Apples or Pomegranates (Porkbelly Press). My poems are published or forthcoming in Pleiades, The Journal, The Florida Review, Mid-American Review, Muzzle Magazine and elsewhere. I'm lucky to have studied with many wonderful poets including Rita Dove, Sharon Olds, Gregory Orr, Lisa Russ Spaar, Debra Nystrom, Mark Doty, Kiki Petrosino, Brian Teare, Ada Limon, Kate Daniels, Sally Keith, Arisa White, Marty McConnell, and others.
I’d be honored if you subscribed to Fork & Page, I only post twice a month on the weekends, so your inbox will never be overwhelmed. Or follow Fork and Page on Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr, where I share more content. I plan to continue this journey for at least one hundred reviews, and to keep showcasing great contemporary literature.
Thank-you from the bottom of my heart for reading!
(Please note Fork & Page is on hiatus until I finish graduate school, but you can still read all previous reviews here!)
